By the end of the class, you’ll be able to look at a scene, arrange it with purpose, and create images that tell a clear visual story.

This Beyond Auto Mode class is about taking control of your camera instead of letting it guess. We will cover how aperture, shutter speed, and ISO work together, and how to use Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, and Manual mode in real situations. By the end of the class, you’ll know how to freeze or blur motion, control background blur, and quickly choose settings so your photos look the way you intended.

This Lenses & Filters class is about helping you understand which gear you really need and how to use it well. We will cover the main types of lenses—wide-angle, normal, telephoto, zoom, and prime—and how focal length and aperture affect the look of your photos. We’ll also talk about the most useful filters, like UV, polarizers, and ND filters, and when to use each one. By the end of the class, you’ll know how to choose the right lens and filter for the photo you want to take, instead of guessing or buying gear you don’t need.

This Working with a Professional Print Lab class is about turning your favorite photos into real, high-quality prints. We will walk through how to set up accounts with professional labs, choose sizes and paper types, and prepare your files so they print the way you expect. We’ll also talk about simple monitor and color tips, so what you see on screen is closer to what you get on paper. By the end of the class, you’ll feel comfortable ordering prints on your own and will know which options to pick for your style of photography.
